While our official address says we live in Frisco City, we're actually on the line between Excel and Frisco City. I've only been there a handful of times so I don't really know much about it yet.
Just 2 miles down a pretty country lane sits the town of Excel, Alabama. It's a one stoplight town that boasts potted plants and tidy flower arrangements, a Dollar General, a car wash, a beauty salon, a popular BBQ joint where everything is made from scratch, a Post Office, the Town Hall and Vol. fire Dept, a handful of churches, a Mercantile, and the Town Market (where it's said you can buy the best meat around!). The local High School is a source of local pride, and the Mayor keeps the town neatly kept up and litter free! It's noticeable that the people who live here take pride in their little town, and now we do as well!
