SHOP TALK

This amazing shop will one day be my personal studio space and a place where I can hold small classes in drawing and oil painting. It's in really good condition but will take quite a bit of work and time to get the inside ready, so this will be a one step at a time project. Looking ahead, our vision is to frame a wall down the center lengthwise with a door in it so the side with the small door can be a classroom and studio room, and the side with the big door can be a wood working area with tools and the saws, planer, etc. The left side will have to be insulated and have an a/c unit added, as well as a few windows and strip lighting. We also need to put in an electrical panel and update the wiring. But before we can do all of that, it needs to be cleaned inside and treated for pests.

    For now, Bo is helping me work on the outside, adding some fun metal artwork to the outer walls and planting a big flower garden along the North side. One step at a time!
