The cabinets have arrived! Here is just one of them. My plan is to paint them all white, and I bought some 1950's chrome knobs from Ebay which will compliment and not compete with the original drawer handles on the metal cabinets. One thing I do not like is this range hood. I feel like I need one that comes down more since it has to be mounted so high...plus, I'm short and have a hard time reaching the fan button. We'll see what happens there at some point. I also want to look for an antique "something" to attach to the wall in that empty space next to the range hood. I didn't want a traditional wall cabinet. I'll know what it is when I see it. Sooo much yet to do in here! More to come...
